UW-GU Health Partnership Building
Located along the Spokane River, this 100,000-square-foot science building is a joint endeavor between the University of Washington and Gonzaga University, designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and curiosity. The interior design tells a story—one rooted in the fundamental elements of science and the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
Environmental graphics of DNA sequencing, cellular structures, and atomic patterns are integrated throughout the space, transforming walls, ceilings, and corridors into immersive visual narratives. These elements not only celebrate the disciplines housed within but also symbolize the shared pursuit of discovery. The building’s design philosophy centers on science as story: a layered, evolving journey from molecule to mind.
