A thoughtful renovation of an existing lake cabin on Lake Pend Oreille in Sagle, this project brings a fresh, modern aesthetic while celebrating the character that makes the home unique. Clean lines, understated materials, and intentional detailing create a refined yet relaxed feel. The living room’s existing barrel arch became a defining feature, inspiring us to play with asymmetry throughout the space, from the fireplace to the island. Rather than fight the architecture, we leaned into it, creating a balance of clean geometry and unexpected moments. Modern lake living, with a nod to the cabin’s original charm.
